Our Organisation

Helping people grow

We are an organisation supporting people new to the Literary and Media industries. The Mackayan is committed to helping writers develop and grow within their chosen subject specialism within the Arts, Music, Literature, Culture, or Politics.

Writers begin their journey with The Mackayan as a columnist and have the opportunity to lead others as an editor for their chosen department as positions become available.

This is a professional organisation with a single, dedicated team structure and limited numbers. Because the of the team size, our writers have a far greater exposure ratio to the audience and a far better access to support. Our Writers and Audience are two separate entities.
